Detroit Lakes, Minnesota (March 31, 2025) – SJE is pleased to announce that Marieangie Escobar has been promoted from Sales Engineer to Regional Sales Manager, effective March 31, 2025. In this new role, Marieangie will oversee SJE’s southeast sales region, which includes North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. She will be responsible for providing sales and technical support to manufacturers’ representatives agencies, distribution partners, and other industry professionals.
Marieangie has a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering and more than seven years of experience with SJE. In the past, she worked with the international customer service team. Most recently, she was a Sales Engineer working out of SJE’s headquarters in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. She was responsible for quoting projects for the engineered control solution division. She also applied a strong background in both standard and engineered products to recommend and direct customers to the best product for their needs.
Marieangie brings enthusiasm and great communication skills to the sales team. Additionally, she is passionate about providing solutions and developing new products for the industry. She emphasizes that SJE’s customers are the best, adding that they are very empathetic, enthusiastic, and always willing to help their communities. Marieangie likes working with customers because she plays a part in aiding the future development of a home, community, city, or county.
Marieangie loves to go on road trips to explore new cities. One of her recent trips she traveled from Orlando to Sebring Florida to watch the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring sportscar race. In her spare time, she enjoys watching sports, Netflix, and exercising.
